This vacuum is a bit slower than other models, but it's still able to reach the majority of crevices and corners. It has a large bin that makes it easy to empty. It's compatible with digital barriers and virtual barriers that let you make it impossible to clean certain areas or stop cleaning altogether in order to prevent it from getting stuck on something.
Although it's not the top model for its price, it's better than many other alternatives. In our tests during our tests, the IQ was adept at handling pet hair effectively, clearing an impressive amount of debris from floors that were not bare and fair amounts on medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to get at dirt and dust buried in the fibers. It did a decent job of maneuvering the legs of chairs, tight spaces, and the wooden base of an IKEA step stool. It was a little slower on bare flooring but it was able to recover speed and was more efficient than the other robots we test.
The IQ is a better choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin and a longer battery life, and is better in navigating around obstacles. It also comes with a mopping attachment that can handle sticky messes. On the other side the iRobot is built better and has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement, incurs lower recurring costs, and can create virtual no-go zones with its companion app. It is able to continue cleaning where it left off even if the battery runs out before it's finished. The iRobot can be controlled by voice, which is a huge benefit for many users.
Eufy 11S
The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum available but it does provide great cleaning power for the price of. This robot vacuum is made for those who are budget conscious and don't require a complicated mapping system, or even an application to control it. This robot can last for up to an hour. It comes with a remote control, cleaning tool, and AC power adapter.
The 11S is slim and sleek with a tempered glass upper deck that covers plastic and is made to look like brushed aluminum. It's a refreshing departure from the utilitarian and industrial designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.
The eufy11S did well in our tests of removing larger debris and fine dust from floors. It struggled to deep clean carpets with high and medium piles. The device has a tendency to hit furniture and people in its route. However, it is able detect obstacles with sensors. When it comes across them, it halts and emits a loud sound so you can manually guide it through the obstacle before getting back to work.
Another excellent feature of the eufy11S is its BoostIQ mode, which allows you to set the robot to automatically adjust the strength of its suction to match the floor type and level of mess. It's also easy to use the remote to direct the 11S where you want it to go.
Single Room Mode is a great option for those with small furniture in the space you'd like to vacuum. The eufy will take 30 minutes cleaning the space it is assigned to.
You can also select Edge Cleaning that reduces the amount of time spent in each location to 20 minutes for maximum battery life. This feature allows the eufy to move in a spiraling pattern, cleaning corners and edges.
Miele Complete C1
